Snow Photos

SNOW!

We’ve got about 3″ and still snowing here on the Seacoast, expecting it to turn to rain here soon. 8-15″ of snow will fall across the Northeast today, with higher concentrations falling along spine of the White Mountains — seeing up to 20″. The storm is quickly followed up by serious winds that will load the steeper slopes and make travel extremely dangerous up high.
We’re headed to Crotched tonight to do some filming until late, heading to Lyndon VT from there to stay at our buddy Nick’s place and rage it up then some BC stuff on Saturday and to Bolton for Sunday.
GET AMPED!

Granite Gorge | Mountains of STEEZ day – February 12, 2011

Wonderful day up at Granite Gorge, killer atmosphere and a great setup – that is all thanks to Dave Morin and his crew over there at GG Terrain Parks. We are so stoked to be working with these guys, also looks like they have a few events in the near future that we’ll be involved with. More stoke and less talk…video and photos below. Bolton Valley tomorrow (Monday).

Bolton Valley | February 8, 2011

What a day, just another untracked powder day at Bolton. We arrived nice and early — skied the resort with less than 6 other people for the first two hours and then headed into the backcountry. Pretty stoked on what we could take away from today, a few good photos and a good video edit — strong day at work.

Tenney | February 2, 2011

Tenney was the choice today — moderately close to home and we found some good stuff there last week. Andy Elliot joined us today — Alpine-Live.com team rider. It was snowing heavily all morning and we measured around 8″ up top by noon. We got some solid footage and photos despite the terrible lighting and snowfall rate. It’s deep out there folks — take the day off tomorrow!
We’re headed to VT!

Storm to effect the Northeast

It’s now almost guaranteed that the entire Northeast will see atleast a foot by Thursday morning, get your gear packed and schedule your days off of work! The Alpine-Live.com crew will be shredding Vermont for the majority of the week so stay tuned!
GET STOKED!!

Quinn Keating | Wasatch Trip 2011

Our new friend up at Bolton got some serious skiing in on the West coast this past week. He visited some friends out in the Wasatch and came back with this…

Bolton Valley | January 29, 2011

Went up early to Bolton again this morning, this time accompanied by a new guy….Ryan. We’re always stoked to have new riders come along, especially if they rip. Today the plan was to do some backcountry touring outside of the ski area boundary. We combed the mountain for leftover pow and decided around 11am to throw the skins on and jump off piste. Last week we dropped a few hints on how to reach the line we skied, hopefully nobody heads up that way because it was scraped off and quite frankly, dangerous. Today it was just far to good to expose our route, Bolton continues to bring the sickness and today was no exception. I still have that perma-smile on from getting snow in the face so many times. Our new guy (and hopefully a regular from now on) mentioned that it was “the best east coast skiing he’s ever experienced”. This isn’t a rarity, I’ve said it at least 10 times myself and I’ve heard our previous guests saying the same thing.
New guy Ryan about to dig a tunnelLucas sending it — what a surprise
**On another note there is an enormous blurb on the map for mid-week…it looks like the mountains could get slammed. GAME ON! Stay tuned into Alpine-Live.com for weather updates as they become available.
