Storm Update | Thursday 3:30pm
Well we aren’t going to get the snow I had anticipated, but it still looks like there could be a few inches in the higher peaks of the Greens and Whites by Monday morning. I’ve attached an image of the Stowe report for 3,389ft. We shall see, cross your fingers and make some sort of sacrifice to the snow gods this evening.

Voleurz – Look on the Brightside
The west coast recently saw a pretty hefty early season storm, here is a little video of Alta from today. Looks pretty fun, snowflakes in the mountains this weekend could be on tap.
Bridger Bowl in Bozeman, MT reported close to 3′ of snow in the last 48 hours. Alpine-Live team member Casey Denning spent the day shredding, heres a little taste.
Fellow UNH classmate Nick Poulin throwing down.
Getting fired up, The Bridger Range outside of Bozeman, MT is reporting 2’+. Casey is heading out to shred tomorrow and will report back with photos galore. Hopefully this warmspell back east will disperse and allow the cold front to settle in, snow showers in the forecast from Thursday until Monday. GET AMPED!!!
This is just sick. DCP shred-sesh

Some amazing camerawork here, not sure what they’re using but I’d guess it’s an Arri or the Red One….some new Salomon skis in here too, check them out on the Salomon website. Mike Douglas has been raving about them on his facebook page.
Episode 3 – Chamonix steeps – even better than #4
Looks like some warm weather this week, very little chance of snowfall in the hills until Thursday so enjoy the Fall while it lasts. Few videos from around the web.

Ski mountaineering at it’s best. This is some seriously puckering terrain.

Well today we got up at 4am and set off to Killington. We heard they got a few inches yesterday and the peak was in the clouds for the whole day. We weren’t expecting much but we got some snow on the drive in and the trails looked pretty well covered. The snow was nice and dry and we finally could skin up.
Here is a teaser…more photos up later tonight.
