Bridger Bowl | January 5, 2010
We got to Bozeman safely and immediately indulged in some fast food and cheap beer. The time zone change is a little hard to get used to but things are coming around. We got up at 8:00am and saw Bridger was boasting 7″ of 5% water content blower powder. Like every new snow day that I’ve experienced here, Bridger welcomes you with avi explosives going off up on the ridge throughout the morning. It’s a little intimidating putting your boots on in the lot and hearing the bombs going off but something about it gets the blood flowing.
NOAA is forecasting 25″+ here by Saturday night, looks like it could get pretty ****** insane! Time for bed..
Still without a camera I had to rely on the trusty GoPro. Here is what we came up with, Day 1 of 18. Enjoy!

Bolton Valley | December 23, 2010
Had an awesome family trip today up at Bolton Valley with my father and brother, they received 7″ of snow since yesterday and were also offering 15 dollar holiday lift tickets. I had never quite experienced the crowds that this smokin’ deal brought in and it was a bit shocking at first but A few good powder turns and some friendly smiles from the lifties made everything numb again. There was a sense of anxiety coming from everyone that you could feel in the lift line but once the skis were pointed downhill again, you can bet your ass it was back to the white room.
I want to give a huge shout out to the Bolton employees for staying patient and friendly all day long, there was some serious crowding issues and they carried themselves professionally and friendly, for that I am appreciative. Next time you get on the lift, give the guy a hello and a thank you, a little smile goes a long way.
Lucas is headed to Vail! Have fun bro, don’t mangle those JJ’s anymore than they already are……(more information/photos to come on this topic) Here’s a little more Bolton stoke to add to the archives, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and pray for this weekend’s coastal snow event to pummel the mountains!
Here is Part 1 of today’s video, Part 2 up soon:

Jibba Jabba Rail Jam
Went over to the Jibba Jabba Rail Jam today @ Rye Airfield — put on by our partner Granite Gorge as well as Steeze, SASS and some of our other friends. They had an awesome setup that they had built the night before, drying out the ice supply across the Seacoast including everything Exeter and Dover Arenas could put forth.

November | First Half Recap
November has been a good month, snow and surf wise. We’re currently experiencing one of the longest swells NH has seen since last Winter and there has been some significant snowfall in the higher elevations. We still have a 4-6″ snow pack atop Mt. Mansfield–It’s bulletproof ice but hopefully it’ll stick out this warm spell. Here is a few shots from the first half of November.

Weather Update
The Storm Chasing page has been updated for this weekend’s upcoming Nor’ Easter, check it out on the menu above.
In lieu of the upcoming storm I found an old Bolton Valley POV video (not HD sry). These guys are rad though.
The Alpine-Live team was up at Bolton a ton last year and we pretty much thought we had the place on lockdown. Well aparently not, but these guys do….check out Devil’s Playground.
